Menstruation Hygiene Management Workshop

Prayatna Nepal conducted One Day Menstruation Hygiene Management Workshop to the visually impaired women living at Kathmandu, bhaktapur and Lalitpur district. The workshop was targeted to the visually impaired young women who lives in hostel and studying +2. 16 participants were benefitted from the workshop.

The main purpose of the workshop was to orient the participants in maintaining menstruation hygiene and cleanliness and to distribute menstrual cups to the participants. Menstrual cup was new for the participants. They were very excited receiving the menstrual cups because it is reusable and one menstrual cup could be used for 8-10 years. Representatives from Marie stopes oriented participants on using menstrual cup.
