Vision

  • An Inclusive society where visually impaired women are respected and can fully experience life.

Mission

  • To advance really social and economic inclusion for women with visual impairment in Nepal, we will:
  • be a strong voice for women with visual impairment by empowering them to be visible in their communities.
  • build partnerships to deliver the best results for women with visual impairment
  • engage the community to challenge/change attitudes and stereotype myths about women with visual impairment.

GOALS

  • To influence all levels of governments for its policy and the community to recognize and remove barriers to full participation by women with visual impairment.
  • To Influence services, Educate, and build the capacity of service systems and organizations to be accessible and inclusive to women with visual impairment.
  • To improve the socio-economic status of women and girls with visual impairment in Nepal.
  • Objectives
  • To improve the socio-economic status of women with and without visual impairment
  • To conduct various awareness-raising activities regarding the strengths of visually impaired women
  • Develop a partnership with the national and international like-minded organizations to achieve organizational goal
  • To organize various technical and vocational training, seminars, and workshops for the income generation of women with visual impairment
  • To provide needful support to ensure accessibility, rights, and interest of women with visual impairment
  • Initiate and operate various professional and thematic wings for organizational sustainability, economic empowerment, and creation of job opportunities for women with visual impairment.
  • To provide various training to reduce violence and harassment among visually impaired women and girls.
