Prayatna Nepal jointly organized a Panel Discussion Program entitled,' Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights of Women with Disabilities in Nepal' in collaboration with Martin Chautari and the People's Health Movement on 27th July 2021 in virtual platform zoom. Altogether 50 participants from different Civil Society organizations, NGOs, INGOs, and members of Organizations of People with Disabilities actively participated in the program. Panel Discussion was mainly focused on the periphery of the existing issues of women with disabilities regarding the access of sexual and reproductive health services and facilities, relation, abortion, and contraceptive devices, and the possible take away to overcome the existing problems that are to be led by organization of people with disabilities, governmental and non-governmental organizations to ensure the sexual and reproductive health rights of women with disabilities.
The program's main objective was to highlight the hidden issues of women with disabilities regarding sexual and reproductive health services and facilities and contraceptive devices so that the stakeholders will be committed to addressing the needs of women with disabilities to ensure their sexual and reproductive health rights.
