Cross Movement Dialogue among the Youth Movement of Nepal

Prayatna Nepal successfully conducted the program on Cross Movement Dialogue among the representatives of Youth Organizations and youth with Disabilities of Nepal in virtual platform zoom. Altogether 45 participants were part of the program. Two paper presenters presented on Concept and Types of Disability and Inclusion status of Youth with Disabilities and Needful Action of Youth Movement in Nepal. After the presentation, the floor was opened for the discussions where representatives of the youth movement and youth with disabilities got the platform to put their queries.

Mr. Jagdish Ayer, Chair of Association of Youth Organizations Nepal, and Mr. Kaladhar Bhandari, executive member of National Youth Council and Chair of Blind Youth Association, put their concluding remarks on their commitment to inclusion of youth with disabilities in every area of development.

The program's main objective was to sensitize the youth movement with the concept of disability and the existing scenario of youth with disabilities so that they will be accountable for the representation, inclusion, and empowerment of youth with disabilities in every aspect of the development process.
