Feminist Dialogue Series on Digital Rights

Published on: March 24, 2022

Prayatna Nepal conducted one-day Feminist Dialogue Series on the digital right in Kathmandu on 24th March 2022 among 19 blind and visually impaired women. The moderator for the dialogue series was Miss Sarita Lamichhane.

The main purpose of conducting the Feminist Dialogue Series on Digital Rights is to provide a sharing platform for visually impaired women about their experiences and understanding of digital rights and associated issues. Digital Dialogue Series became the platform to share the hidden stories they had been through. It has also been a medium to listen to the recommendation from participants so that Prayatna Nepal could set the path on what areas it needs to be focused on in the phase of implementation of the activities.

This event provided a safe space for these visually impaired girls and women to share their own stories and experiences regarding digital rights and accessibility.
