Published on: October 5, 2021

Prayatna Nepal team successfully conducted One Day Menstrual Hygiene Management Workshop and distributed Menstrual Cups to Blind and Visually Impaired Womens of Kathmandu district on 4th October 2021. All Participants were distributed menstrual cups. Special thanks to Ms. Bijaya Lama from Marie Stopes Gongabu for her time and wonderful orientation sessions on menstrual cups.

The objective of the training was to orient the participants with the cycle of menstruation and ways of maintaining menstrual hygiene and cleanliness.  Participants were delighted to receive a menstrual cup because the menstrual cup was completely new for them and an interesting topic of discussion. Participants found the cup quite useful as it was environment friendly and one menstrual cup can be used for 8-10 years. Prayatna Nepal would like to thank the representative of Marie stope Banepa for her time in facilitating the workshop. We are thankful to mama cash for the funding support.
